Our adventure starts in Rovenska, a little picturesque fishermen port that got it’s name from direct exposure to the strongest north wind. It’s beauty and charm are protected by a long breakwater, build in the end of 19th cent. by an Austrian Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian, commander of the Austro Hungarian Navy. From there, we proceed to explore wonderful nature… hidden coves approachable only by trail or sea and beautiful wild beaches perfect for restoring your energy and bringing the smile on you face 🙂
If you want to make a small effort for a big prize, we cross the channel to discover islands Orjule…
We shall paddle in Rovenska bay, explore hidden coves, swim in beautiful beaches, visit Orjule islands, enjoy wild nature and discover southeast part of the Island.

The name “Kayak” means “hunter’s boat” as kayaks were originally invented by the Inuit, Yup’Ik and the Aleut for hunting. They were made of seal or other animal skin stretched over wood or whale bone. Kayaks are very quiet which made them ideal for sneaking up on prey.
Don’t worry, the only thing we will be sneaking up on are the coves, beaches, capes, ridges or caves because we are hunting for adventure and our weapon is camera 🙂
We start our paddling adventure at 8:30am in Rovenska, a charming and picturesque fishermen port of Veli Lošinj.
